Meet the Oval Cut Ring — Balmante's signature promise ring, crafted in 18k gold vermeil. An elongated oval stone stretches elegantly across the finger and catches light with every movement, set on a band slim enough to wear alone and to stack beside everything else you own.

Gold vermeil is the highest standard in gold-over-silver jewellery, and it is a standard a piece has to earn: a core of solid 925 sterling silver wrapped in a full 2.5 microns of 18k gold. It is a thickness you will never see. You notice it in what doesn't happen — colour that stays warm, edges that stay gold, a finish that holds its richness season after season.

At its centre sits a hand-crafted 5A cubic zirconia in a crushed ice cut. Rather than a few wide flashes, its facets scatter light into hundreds of small ones, so the stone never sits still — it shifts and sparks the way a diamond does across a dinner table. At 10 × 8 mm it reads as a 3.5-carat stone on the hand, held in a refined setting that lets it take all the focus.
