Our founder and his partner once lived in different countries, building a relationship while dreaming of a life in the same place. Being apart gave everyday moments a different meaning. A familiar voice. A thoughtful message. The anticipation of seeing each other again.

That chapter shaped the idea behind Balmante: to create jewelry that gives a feeling something tangible to hold on to.

Today, they share a home in the same country. Distance is part of their history, but the appreciation for simply being together has stayed. It’s the feeling at the heart of our brand.
